All the stats you'll ever need!
The Isthmian Archive now runs from 1905 to 2024, and covers League, Cups, Youth, Reserves, Mike Wilson's famous Statistical Reviews, League Bulletins- and so much more! Take a look!
Our statistician, Richard Lambert, has just emerged from his dusty garret and declared that the latest version of the Isthmian Archive is now complete.
The archive now contains every result in Isthmian history, nearly every attendance, sections for reserve teams, youth and development leagues, cup competitions, old Isthmian Bulletins, results from Women's, Veterans and Disability Cups, and a special section filled with copies of Mike Wilson's Statistical Review- and it won't be long before it will feature programmes, too (indeed, perhaps you can help with that).
It is an incredible body of work, of particular use to those of us who like to write about the Isthmian League, those who like history, those who simply like statistics, and those who are trying to resolve an argument about the demise of goal averages (or even those trying to understand what a goal average is- you may need to ask your great grandfather). For reference, the last season where goal averages were used instead of goal difference was 1972-73; not that champions Hendon needed to worry about such things as they ended the season thirteen points clear at the top.
You want to go and look at it now, don't you? And you can- because we're nice like that. Follow THIS link.
Thanks to Richard, once more, for a season of incredible effort- and we look forward to the new programme section which is coming soon.
