Carter back in the City
Sam Carter returns to Cambridge
Cambridge City have welcomed the return of Sam Carter.
Earlier in his career Sam played for East Thurrock United, and also for Concord Rangers. He spent time with Maldon & Tiptree, too, at the end of the 22-23 campaign, and was then part of the Tilbury side side that won Essex Senior League promotion at the end of the 23-24 season. He started the following campaign as a virtual ever-present in the Dockers side, making twenty nine appearances and scoring once. He was part of the Tilbury side who poured cold water on Cambridge City's Stadium opening party at the end of November last year, and then moved to City, playing eighteen times.
He was back at Tilbury last season, making twenty appearances, and then moved on to Redbridge, playing sixteen times and reaching the Play Off Final.
