Field up to fifth- with victory against nine man Southall

Westfield go five unbeaten- and end Southall's winning run

We had only one match last night, but it was rather important, as Southall- who had won four in a row and sat in fifth place- welcomed Westfield, three places but only one point behind them.

Westfield went ahead on sixteen minutes, James Roberts shot going in off the post, and then doubled their advantage eleven minutes later, Roberts the provider on this occasion, his corner steered home by Caleb Wright.

The All had an uphill struggle ahead of them at this point, and their task became steeper still six minutes before half time, Kensley Maloney dismissed for a tackle on Sean O'Brien. Just after the hour debutant O'Brien made it three, and still the misery wasn't finished for the hosts, who saw skipper Alex Kelly sent off just before the end.

Westfield climbed to fifth- eight points behind leaders Jersey Bulls and one place above their hosts.

Field travel to take on fourth place Winchester City on Saturday, whilst The All travel to the seaside to face struggling Littlehampton Town.
