Franzen-Jones is a forward-thinking Tanner

Leatherhead have signed striker Lukas Franzen-Jones from Pitching In Isthmian South East side Margate- and he made his debut from the bench in the second half of their 2-2 draw at Harrow Borough on Saturday.

Lukas had a superb 23-24 with South East promotion chasers Lancing. He managed twenty eight goals from his forty three appearances last season as the Lancers fell just short of a Play Off place. He joined Lancing in the summer of 2023 from Newhaven Town, and wasn''t entirely new to the South East Division. He managed two goals in seven appearances for Haywards Heath Town during 22-23, sandwiched between two spells at Newhaven, and has also spent a little time at Burgess Hill Town.

East Preston, Pagham and Saltdean United are amongst his other clubs, and he has was rather prolific at Newhaven.

His spell at Margate saw him play fifteen times, with one goal.
