Hartley Poole

Hartley Wintney have announced two new additions to their squad. Goalkeeper Henry Poole makes the move from one of our former clubs, Bedfont Sports. Henry made forty one appearances for Sports last season, as they fell at the final hurdle in their battle to return to the Pitching In Isthmian League, losing in the Combined Counties Premier North Play Off Final on penalties to Rayners Lane. Prior to his time with Bedfont Sports he played for another lot of Sports, Spelthorne. Lamar Koroma, a midfielder, was a promotion winner at Farnham Town last season. You may remember him from his time at Bedfont Sports and Thatcham Town- he made twenty four appearances for the Kingfishers during 21-22 and another five the following season. He moved to Farnham in January 2023, and has had a very successful time, winning the Southern Combination Cup in his first season and- of course- playing an enormous part in last season's unbeaten title winning side, as Town racked up one hundred and eight points and scored one hundred and thirty league goals. He also played for Fleet Town, Egham Town and Winchester City.
