Highlights: Broadbridge Heath v Faversham Town (x2)
The Bears triumph- after a replay. Watch the best bits of both matches.
Broadbridge Heath were at home to Faversham Town, the visitors in third place and unbeaten in Southern Counties East Premier. The travelling Lillywhites were playing their fourth away match in a row, and they had won the other three, but the Bears weren’t about to become victims. That said, they couldn’t win, either, and the sides had to meet again in Kent after a goalless draw.
Heath travelled to take on Town on Tuesday night. Faversham were previously unbeaten in all competitions, but they are unbeaten no more as the Bears eased to victory. Tadley Bromage gave them the lead on twenty three minutes, and the lead doubled just before the break, Kyle Sim making it two. The third arrived six minutes from time, Louis Evans making quite sure, and although Faversham got an even later consolation the Bears held on comfortably- and will travel to Ramsgate in the next round.
