Hill inflict a first league defeat on Gate- and go fourth
Margate travelled to take on Burgess Hill Town, the side from the seaside still unbeaten after eight matches- but they aren’t unbeaten after nine, as Hill’s fine season continued. Bobby Price put the hosts ahead on nineteen minutes, but the sides were level at half time, Ibrahim Olutade’s eighth of the season drawing Gate level on thirty five minutes. The winner arrived twelve minutes from time, and it went to substitute Reggie Ward, who had replaced Price in the first half. The Hillians have only one defeat from eight, and are fourth.
