Highlights: Dover Athletic 2 Folkestone Invicta 3
A fine derby win for the visitors
Folkestone Invicta are up to sixth, after winning a local derby at the Crabble against Dover Athletic. Invicta took only two minutes to take the lead, Dan Smith with the goal, and four minutes before the break they silenced a large proportion of the two thousand, four hundred and ninety five in attendance by scoring another, Tom Derry making it two. Athletic immediately charged up the other end, won a corner, and George Nikaj headed it home, but on fifty seven minutes the hosts were reduced to ten men, Harrison Pont seeing red for a tackle on Evans Kouassi which the referee deemed rather unpleasant. With twelve minutes left Invicta added a third, Evans heading this one home, but five minutes from time the hosts ensured a nervy finish by pulling it back to two-three, Jaiden Drakes-Thomas with that one. Seven minutes were added on, and Invicta held on to take the local bragging rights.
