Highlights; Farnham Town 1 Southall 1
Southall end Farnham's perfect record, but our leaders recover to take a point
We’d run out of superlatives to describe Farnham Town, but with eight wins in a row and an average of more than four goals a game, we’re sure the rest of the Division wanted to see their one hundred percent start to the season- and their fifty six match unbeaten run in the league(s)- come to an end. Visitors Southall couldn’t manage to achieve both of those aims, but they did manage one of them, despite being short handed for most of the match. Jordi Ebanda put The All ahead on twelve minutes, but on the half hour they realised they’d have to hold onto that lead with ten men after Jordan Ajanlekoka saw red. Their resistance gave out on sixty seven minutes, Great Evans levelling for Town, but it held for the rest of the match and Farnham’s perfect record departed. They hold on at the top, however, with a two point lead.
