Saturday’s big match came from the seaside, as Ramsgate welcomed Sittingbourne in a clash of our promotion favourites- and it lived up to its billing. The Rams were quickly ahead, Benny Bioletti scoring after just two minutes, but the Brickies then turned the match on its head, Troy Howard levelling only four minutes later and Mitchell May scoring his sixth of the season just before the quarter hour. The visitors held their lead until two minutes after the start of the second half, Tom Carlse with the equaliser- and within only two more minutes the Rams were ahead, Joe Taylor’s fifth of the campaign giving the hosts the advantage once more. The match hung in the balance, but the balance firmly leaned towards the hosts when Tijan Jadama got a fourth with sixteen minutes to go, and that was that, the Rams in third. Six hundred and seventy one watched this one.
