Stefan Peck is our man on the ground at Felixstowe
We asked supporters of our Pitching In Isthmian League clubs to preview the new season, reflect on the old and predict the final outcome. Their predicted 1-22 will be worked into a final table which you will see just before the big kick off.

- Thinking about last season, what were your highlights?
Two games stick out as highlights of the season for me, Both 3-0 home victories against top opposition, Bury Town and Lowestoft Town.
Lowestoft at home could have easily been 6 or 7, we were that good, with the midfield totally controlling the game from start to finish.
Cole Skuse's Bury Town came to Felixstowe with a lot of hype, huffed and puffed and again we controlled the tempo, controlled the game and made them look very ordinary.
2. And what was the worst moment?
Unfortunately Lowestoft away. We were driving up, thinking "win this and we are nearly there,” however players didn't turn up, two horrendous goalkeeper errors, and a disappointing defeat to take away. Lowestoft were deserved winners that day and deserved top spot, we just couldn't live with them that day.
3. Which member of your squad was your Player of the Season - and why?
Jack Ainsley. Controlled everything thrown at him at the back, before being out with a bad injury towards the end of the season he was head and shoulders above anyone else. Had he not been injured we could have been looking forward to Isthmian Premier Division football.
4. Moving on to your current squad- which players do you think will make a big impact during the 24-25 campaign?
New signings and youngsters to star this season:
Hugh Cullum, recently signed from Needham Market, I've been really impressed with his energy going forward, his strength, and he does like a tackle or two. New Goalkeeper Harry Wright, looks the business, talks so much during the game and will be a great addition, he's a really nice guy off the pitch too.
The big thing for me this season is keeping Charlie Warren, a massive player for us before breaking his arm, this season he needs to stay injury free please, alongside his brother Tom.
I have to mention youngsters Archie Dunne and Hugh Akhuseyin, who have both come from the U18's to the first team and done very well in pre-season. This will be a big season for them, good luck lads.
5. Realistically, how do you think you’ll do this season?
We've made some serious additions this season, additions that will improve the team no end. Unfortunately some players have left, but we've replaced them with some real quality. I think we'll finish in the top 3 again, stay injury free and we'll be get that top spot.
6. Which matches are you most looking forward to going to- and why?
Concord Rangers away, not a ground I've photographed before so it’s a new ground for me. Mildenhall Town away and a meet up with my old friend Kevin Lamb, drinks are on you this time.
7. What is your favourite Isthmian away ground?
Although a 3G pitch, I really like Heybridge Swifts, great clubhouse, good food and plenty of friendly banter with the Heybridge fans make this a good day out.
8. If you regularly travelled away, which ground served the best food?
Tilbury, without a doubt, best burgers in Non-League, we missed you last season and welcome back.
9. Who do you think will finish in the top five?
Concord Rangers, Felixstowe & Walton United, Brentwood Town, Haringey Borough, Basildon United
The survey is now closed- and you’ll see the predicted league tables on Saturday morning, prior to the big kick off!
