Meakin out at Lane

Pitching In Isthmian South Central side Rayners Lane yesterday announced the departure of manager Gary Meakin- and his coaching staff. In a statement the club explained:

‘The club announces that, as of today, Gary Meakin and his coaching staff have been relieved of their duties. We extend our deepest gratitude to Gary and his team for their remarkable contributions last season, which included securing our promotion to Step Four and winning the Middlesex Senior Cup.’ 

Gary was previously in charge at Beaconsfield Town, Egham Town, Burnham, Northwood and Wingate & Finchley.

Each of Lane's three League fixtures so far have ended in a draw. They were narrowly defeated in an FA Cup Replay, lost on penalties in the FA Trophy and have departed our Velocity Cup.
