New Chat Bello

Chatham Town had a debutant as they defeated Wingate and Finchley in the FA Trophy on Saturday, with Ore Bello, newly arrived from Potters Bar Town, emerging from the bench with fifteen minutes to go.

Ore, or Oreofe if we're being more formal, joined the Scholars in October last year and was a big success, marauding down the wing and and scoring twelve goals in the process, playing thirty six times. He has made another seven appearances this season.

He previously made eight appearances for Carshalton Athletic at the tail end of the 21-22 campaign, scoring twice- after graduating from the Robins youth setup. He also spent time at Merstham during the 22-23 season, where he played fourteen times and scored once. He moved to Dover Athletic in the summer of 2023, but was there a relatively short time before becoming a Scholar.
