Shrimper MacDonald new at the Beachboys

Concord Rangers gave a debut to Southend United forward/midfielder Beau MacDonald in victory over Mildenhall Town on Saturday.

Beau has been with the Shrimpers since he was seven years old. He made his debut for the youth team aged just fifteen, and made his first team debut last October in an FA Cup tie against Yeovil Town. Still only seventeen, he has been on the bench for the United first team four times already this season.

He played the entire ninety minutes on Saturday- indeed he played until seven minutes into added time, when replaced by Joe Burton as the Beachboys tried to hold on to their single goal advantage.
