Concord Rangers announce many new arrivals

Concord Rangers have announced a plethora of new arrivals.

Striker Christian Adu Gyamfi previously played for Waltham Abbey, Romford and Harlow Town. His time as an Abbot saw him play thirty five times during the 21-22 and 22-23 campaigns, and 21-22 also saw him make fifteen appearances for Romford in our North Division, with four goals. His time with Harlow saw him play for the reserve side before graduating briefly to the first team.

Midfielder Reggie Gregory might be familiar to you from his time with Hullbridge Sports during the 22-23 campaign. Reggie also spent some of the 21-22 season with Pitching In Isthmian Premier Brightlingsea Regent, where he made four appearances and scored in the last of them, a defeat against Folkestone Invicta. He made the first team squad at Chelmsford City aged sixteen, their youngest senior player in forty years.

Last season saw him spend time with Coggeshall Town.

Goalkeeper Dondre Abraham comes in on a youth loan from Premier League side West Ham United. He joined the Hammers Academy in 2015 when his age was still in single digits, and is now part of the Under 18 squad. It appears that this will be his first experience of senior football.

Full back Billy Willis spent a little time with Heybridge swifts last season, playing three times. He was previously at Swifts neighbours Maldon & Tiptree, making seventeen appearances in the second half of the 22-23 season, after starting that campaign with Hashtag United, where he played fifteen times. Billy spent the 21-22 season with Witham Town, where he was the captain. He made thirty seven appearances.

He was previously with Canvey Island, and also turned out for Tilbury, Great Wakering Rovers and Basildon United. As well as his usual defensive slot, he has also been known to play in midfield.

Midfielder Evernage Nyahunda spent time with Ilford last season, in the Essex Senior League. He was previously with both Woodford Town and Clapton, and this seems to be his first time at our level.

Anisius Lewis, a striker, spent some time at Basildon United last season and during 22-23, on loan from Chelmsford City. His two spells as a Bee saw him play eleven times and score twice. Anisius spent time with the Academies at West Ham United and Southend United- and had a trial with Ipswich Town- before joining the Clarets youth setup. He spent a great deal of the 22-23 season on loan with out clubs. Hullbridge Sports were his first port of call, and he made thirteen appearances, scoring six goals. He then spent time with Bowers and Pitsea, playing twice, before moving onto the Bees for the first time.

Frank Craik is a forward who steps up from Catholic United, and apparently he managed sixteen goals and ten assists last season in the Essex Olympian League Premier Division.

Full back Finn Wilkes comes in on a dual registration deal from Chelmsford Cit. He came through the Academy setup at the Clarets, and has been part of the first team squad, but spent last season with Coggeshall Town.

Harvey Brown started his career in the youth team at Dagenham and Redbridge, and became a big part of the Maldon & Tiptree first team during the 2017-18 season, making forty appearances. After seven appearances at the start of the following season he moved on to Aveley, and then he spent two seasons with Redbridge- then in the Essex Senior League- before taking some time away from football.

Freddie Price arrives from Premier Division runners up and defeated Play Off Finalists Chatham Town. The left sided midfielder/forward was with the Chats since mid January, after starting the season with the Beachboys, where he made five appearances, scoring in the first. He ended last season playing a big part in Bowers & Pitsea’s North Division Play Off win, playing eight times.

He spent time on loan in the North Division during the 22-23 season at Heybridge Swifts, when he was still with Colchester United. He made six appearances in black and white, and whilst with Colchester played predominantly for their Under 18 side, as well as for the Under 21's.
