A Becks double
Bradley Pritchard and Calum McGeehan are new at Beckenham Town
Beckenham Town inconveniently made two signings whilst we were taking a short break last week, with Bradley Pritchard and Calum McGeehan coming in.
Bradley comes in from Lewes, having been a Rook for three seasons. He made thirty nine appearances with four goals last season, thirty nine with one goal during 22-23, and thirty five with five goals during 21-22. He's also got rather green fingers, taking a major role in the work done in the Rooks Community Garden, better known as Brad's Pit!
He joined the Rooks from Cray Wanderers in May 2021. He had been with Wands since July 2018, immediately making thirty six appearances and scoring five goals as they won the Isthmian South East Division title. His fabulous form continued in the Premier Division, and he played thirty seven times as his side finished the prematurely-ended 2019-20 campaign in second place, before making another ten during our very short 2020-21 campaign.
Bradley made his name with Charlton Athletic, a key part of the side which won League One in 2012, and after leaving the Addicks he spent two years with Leyton Orient before heading to the Isthmian League with Greenwich Borough.
Calum McGeehan returns to the club he once captained, fresh from winning promotion to our level with Erith Town. Callum, who has coached for Bromley and for Arsenal, has also played in the SCEFL for Hollands and Blair and Erith & Belvedere, and was with Herne Bay, Sittingbourne, Ramsgate, Greenwich Borough and Dover Athletic earlier in his career.
