A clamour of Rooks!
Ethan Kaiser, Hamilton Antonio and Shae Hutchinson are the latest Lewes arrivals
Lewes yesterday announced three moire arrivals, Ethan Kaiser, Hamilton Antonio and Shae Hutchinson signing on for the new season.
Ethan Kaiser's arrival is something of a surprise, as he was only announced as a new signing for Leatherhead in June. Ethan ended last season at Southall, playing nine times and scoring twice. He started it at South Park Reigate, for whom he managed twenty nine appearances, also scoring twice. He ended the previous campaign at Bedfont Sports, but also spent time in the Premier Division with Margate and Potters Bar Town. He made ten appearances for Gate, and another ten for the Scholars.
Ethan was previously with Cray Wanderers, and made sixteen appearances- scoring three times- as his side escaped the drop in 21-22 by the skin of their teeth. He made another twenty three appearances for Bedfont Sports during the 21-22 campaign, an enormous part of their success as they reached the final Qualifying Round of the FA Cup, where they were defeated by Kidderminster Harriers. They'd already defeated Dulwich Hamlet and Sholing to reach that stage.
He came through the Academy at Carshalton Athletic, left there to sign for Queens Park Rangers, and has also played at Tonbridge Angels and Tooting & Mitcham United, as well as spending time on trial at Doncaster Rovers.
Midfielder Hamilton Antonio was a big part of Herne Bay's promotion from Pitching In Isthmian South East during the 21-22 season, playing thirty nine times including in their Play Off Final win at Ashford United. He left the Kent coast for Enfield Town, but played only four times, and spent some time with Hendon, and then returned to Bay to help with their Premier campaign. He ended last season at Uxbridge, making seventeen appearances.
He was previously with the now sadly defunct Walton Casuals, and also with the club they defeated in a South East Play Off Final, Corinthian-Casuals. He also spent a short time with Sutton Common Rovers.
Shae Hutchinson is a former Norwich City youth, spending six years as a Canary and scoring regularly for their Under 23 Premier League 2 side before leaving the club last year, after also playing Under 18 and Under 21 football. Braintree Town was his next port of call, and he has since played for Farnborough. He also spent some loan time with Hartley Wintney when they were a Pitching In Southern Premier side. He ended last season at Potters Bar Town, where he played three times.
He has overcome enormous adversity- two kidney transplants- during his career, and we hope very much that most of his health difficulties are now behind him.
