Louie Procopi, Kian Scott, Jake Goodman and Archie Gumbrell are new at Hythe Town

Hythe have announced four new signings as they prepare for the forthcoming season.

Defender Louie Procopi made four appearances for Pitching In Isthmian South East rivals Ramsgate last season, and also spent time on loan at Deal Town and Canterbury City last season. He was previously at Margate, where he made one appearance during the 22-23 campaign.

Kian Scott comes in from Folkestone Invicta. Kian played Under 18 football for the Stripes and was rather prolific at that level- indeed he'd scored twenty seven times before signing first team forms in February. He didn't manage to make an Invicta debut, but he did spend time on loan at Canterbury City.

Defender Jake Goodman ended last season at Burgess Hill Town, where he played nine times and scored one goal. He joined Hill just before the transfer window slammed shut.

Jake came through the youth ranks at Millwall. Whilst at the New Den he had loan spells with Staines Town, AFC Wimbledon, Aldershot Town and Luton Town, and after departing the Lions in 2015 he moved to Margate, who at that point were in National League South. Spells at Braintree Town, Maidenhead United and Bromley followed, and a short spell at Ebsfleet United was followed by two seasons with Dover Athletic.

He signed for Folkestone Invicta in the summer of 2023, and made seventeen appearances on the Kent coast, scoring two goals. He also spent time in Pitching In Isthmian South East, on loan at Sittingbourne, making ten appearances.

Finally, Archie Gumbrell comes in from Welling United. The midfielder came through the Wings Academy and played regularly at Under 18 and Under 23 level.
