A Don back with the Hawks

Whitehawk had midfield reinforcement as they took on Hastings United last night, with the return to the club of AFC Wimbledon midfielder Kai Jennings. Kai spent the closing stages of last season with the Hawks, making eleven appearances, scoring three goals and impressing everyone. 

Kai has been part of the Dons first team squad,  and indeed played twice last season, emerging from the bench to make his debut in the five-one win over Cheltenham Town in early November and again in EFL Trophy defeat against Wycombe Wanderers the same month. He was also on the bench as the Dons lost in the FA Cup Third Round against Ipswich Town, but wasn't given an appearance. 

He is the captain of the Dons Under 18 side, and has been with the Dons for...well, just about his whole life, being initially spotted as an Under Seven when he participated in a coaching session in Wimbledon Park, near his home.
