A Dons quartet
Henry Curtis, Roraigh Browne, Alkeo Bani and Kofi Anokye-Boadi are all new at Hendon
Prior to Saturday's match against Carshalton Athletic, new Hendon boss Ben Bukowski welcomed four new arrivals. Henry Curtis, Roraigh Browne, Alkeo Bani and Kofi Anokye-Boadi signed on at Silver Jubilee Park, ready to help the Greens rediscover their form.
Henry Curtis joins the club on loan from Ipswich Town. It's beginning to feel that we have more Tractor Boys on loan at Isthmian clubs at the moment than there are left at Portman Road, and Henry, a defender, has been with the Suffolk club since January, after being spotted playing for the Kinetic Academy. He plays for the Under 18 side and is a centre back.
Goalkeeper Roraigh Browne isn't new to us. The Watford loanee spent time at Walthamstow and Northwood last season, making fourteen appearances for the Woods and thirteen for Stow. During the 22-23 season he spent a little time with Chertsey Town. Roraigh has already had spells at Bishop's Stortford and AFC Dunstable this season, and plays for the Hornets Under 21 side.
Defender Alkeo Bani comes in from Haringey Borough, although he has made only a trio of Coles Park appearances. Alkeo moved to Sittingbourne in the summer after a fine 23-24 season at Pitching In Isthmian Premier Play Off Semi-Finalists Wingate and Finchley, but doesn't seem to have played at all for the Brickies. He made thirty five appearances for the Summers Lane side last season, thirty one during 22-23 and thirteen during 21-22. He has also played for St Albans City, Basildon United and Bowers and Pitsea, after first playing youth football at Watford and Fleetwood Town.
Finally, winger Kofi Anokye-Boadi comes in on loan from Chatham Town. He signed for the Chats in the summer and has made twenty seven appearances this season. He spent last season with Pitching In Isthmian South Central side Northwood, where he managed fourteen goals from the flanks in forty seven matches. He previously played youth football for Barnet, playing regularly for the Under 23 side and training with the first team. He moved on to Sutton United, where he played for the Under 21 side, before first heading our way with Chipstead, where he played twenty one times during the 21-22 season, and seventeen times during 22-23. He also played briefly for Bedfont Sports.
