A double at the Lane

A double at the Lane

Shamal Edwards and Endurance Johnson are the latest arrivals at Rayners Lane

Rayners Lane have announced two new arrivals, Shamal Edwards and Endurance Johnson signing on.

Forward Shamal has most recently been with AFC Croydon Athletic, where he has played eight times this season. He moved to the Rams from Lane's South Central rivals Farnham Town, where he won promotion, the League Cup, a golden boot and scored goals galore. He was previously with Tooting & Mitcham United, where he played for the first team and earlier for the Under 23's, and he has also played for Bedfont Sports and Chalfont St Peter.

Goalkeeper Endurance spent time at Kingstonian last season, playing eight times, before moving on to play thirty two times for Merstham. He spent part of the 22-23 season with Sutton Common Rovers, making twenty four appearances.

As a youth, he spent time with Brentford before signing for Colchester United, where he spent three years until departing, aged eighteen, for Hampton & Richmond Borough. He also had a loan spell- whilst with United- at Maldon & Tiptree, but doesn't seem to have played.
