A final South Central Wednesday
Fareham and Hartley are our midweek hosts
Hot on the heels of a long weekend of action, we have two more matches in Pitching In Isthmian South Central this evening, as two previously postponed fixtures go ahead.
Bottom side Fareham Town have already seen their relegation confirmed, but will want to end their Step Four season on a high following a run of one win in ten. Town play hosts to South West Londoners Raynes Park Vale, their visitors starting the day in fourteenth place after ending a seven match winless streak with victory over Kingstonian on Monday.
The sides last met on the opening day of the season, Vale winning two-nil.
Horndean travel to Hartley Wintney knowing that anything other than victory will confirm their relegation; but they should be able to play with some freedom because, truthfully, that relegation is unavoidable unless we get divine intervention. The Deans are twelve points from safety with four games left, and have a goal difference of minus forty seven, which is significantly worse than any of the sides they are pursuing. The Row are in thirteenth, and are three unbeaten, so will want to end the campaign with a defeat-free run. The sides drew two-two in October.
