A Herne Bay trio

Lauric Diakiesse, Joel Odeniran and Freddie Oliver are new at Herne Bay

Herne Bay have announced a trio of new arrivals.

Lauric Diakiesse has most recently been with Heybridge Swifts, where he has played four times- his second spell with the club. Lauric, a forward,  had previously been with Enfield, and joined the E's from Kempston Rovers. Last season also saw him with Bedford Town and Beaconsfield Town.

He started the 22-23 season at Ashford United, and made eleven appearances, scoring once. He moved on to another of the promotion chasers, Ramsgate, making nine appearances with two goals, and then moved to Whitehawk, but didn't play, quickly moving on to Barking.

He moved to Homelands from AFC Rushden and Diamonds. Prior to his time as a Diamond he was with Kettering Town, and has also played for Aldershot Town, Erith & Belvedere, Woodford Town, Harrow Borough, Ilford FC, Imortal Desportivo Clube (Portugal), Ware and Egham Town.

Joel Odeniran has already played nine times for the club this season. The defender, who is on loan from Folkestone Invicta, joined the Stripes in the summer and has actually made ten appearances for them, too. He previously played Academy football for Dover Athletic, and has also played for Lordswood and Snodland Town.

Midfielder Freddie Oliver has joined the club on a short term basis during a break from his studies in the USA. Freddie came through the Academy at Dover Athletic and went on to play for the first team, as well as having loan spells at Lordswood and at Ramsgate. He played eighteen times for the Rams last season, including an appearance in the FA Cup Second Round against AFC Wimbledon. In the USA he is playing for Tiffin University, in Ohio.
