A Len Salmon double

Prior to their Saturday fixture against Bognor Regis Town, Bowers and Pitsea announced the signings of Cameron Andrews and Archie Johnson (actually, they also announced Malaki Toussaint, but we told you about his arrival the other day- here). 

Midfielder Cameron comes in on loan from National League South side Welling United. Cameron came through United's scholarship programme, and has already played a number of times for the first team. he also spent time with us last season, turning out for Erith and Belvedere twenty nine times and scoring once. 

Defender Archie Johnson comes in from Cray Wanderers. He joined Wands from Margate in February, and went on to make four appearances last season and a couple more during this campaign.

Archie moved to the Kent coast in the summer of 2023 after sweeping all before him for Beckenham Town in the South East Division during the 22-23 campaign. He played thirty four times in blue before his move to Cray. He was in our South East Team of the Season at the end of the 22-23 campaign, won Supporters, Managers and Players Player of the Season awards, and made forty one appearances as Becks made their way to the Play Off Semi Final. 

Prior to his time with Beckenham he was with Welling United for a number of years after starting off in the youth ranks, and was with Wands for the 2018-19 season, playing thirty four times as his side won the South East title by an eight point margin.
