A managerial duo for Bowers

Joe Flower and Luke Wilson take over at Bowers and Pitsea

Bowers and Pitsea announced that they'd hired not one but two managers to replace the departed James Collins- and the new faces in the dugout were familiar, Joe Flower and Luke Wilson returning to the club, where they had previously had success.

The duo depart Runwell Sports, who are currently in third place in the ProKit UK Essex Olympian Football League (Step Seven), so make quite the step up- but they will be rather familiar with their surroundings. Joe was previously a part of Rob Small's successful management team and played a big part in the success of the club, promotions and that famous FA Cup run undoubtedly appearing on his cv- and has also spent time as Assistant boss at Great Wakering Rovers and Basildon United, as well as working as a development coach for Chelsea. Luke was a player at the Len Salmon, and indeed played one hundred and twenty six times for the club, scoring twenty four goals, and won both the Essex Senior League and Essex Senior League Cup. He also played for many more of our clubs, including Aveley, Hashtag United, Tilbury, Billericay Town, Grays Athletic, Heybridge Swifts, Tilbury and AFC Sudbury.
