A Merstham trio
Tommy Bradford, Sinn’Kaye Christie and Gil Carvalho are new at Moatside
Merstham have strengthened their squad ahead of the forthcoming season with the arrivals of Tommy Bradford, Sinn’Kaye Christie and Gil Carvalho.
Tommy Bradford has just ended his fourteenth season at Carshalton Athletic, and as usual played more than anyone else, forty one times. He scored four goals, too. The forward came through the Academy at Colston Avenue, and has gone on to become a true club legend- indeed the place won't be the same without him. Hundreds of appearances, more than one hundred goals, and the first name on the Athletic teamsheet- his departure is both a surprise and something of a coup for the Moatsiders.

He was a big part of Ramsgate's success in the early part of the 23-24 season, part of the side which reached the Second Round of the FA Cup. He made fifteen Rams appearances before stepping up to join Dover Athletic in National League South.
Sinn’kaye started the 22-23 season in the upper reaches of Pitching In Isthmian Premier with Cray Wanderers, making twenty two appearances. He then moved down to the Kent coast, signing for Margate, and played another sixteen times.

He joined Heath from Tooting and Mitcham United, and previously had two spellswith Whitehawk and two spells with Merstham. He also spent time with Hastings United, and was formerly an Under 21 player at Leatherhead.
Gil Carvalho started last season at Hastings United, and indeed played seven times and scored two goals He then moved on to Sevenoaks Town, and played eleven times with one goal, before a move to Herne Bay, where he played six times. He then had a spell at Hythe Town, playing eight times.
