A new Becks duo

Pitching In Isthmian South East leaders Beckenham Town had two debutants in Saturday's win over Broadbridge Heath, Luke Hedges and Tylah Wallace-Ming emerging from the bench after the break. 

Luke would have been a rather familiar face to the home faithful, as he joined the club in the summer of 2022 after being part of the youth setup at Balham, and went on to play seven times during the 22-23 season. 

He has recently been with Balham once more, in Combined Counties Premier South this season, playing eighteen times and scoring twice. That followed forty appearances last season.

Tylah Wallace-Ming, a defender, came through the ranks at AFC Wimbledon before being spotted by Middlesbrough, for whom he played at Under 18 level. He moved south once more at the end of last year, with Welling United, and recently has made a couple of appearances in our North Division for Sporting Bengal United.
