A new keeper for Regent

Brightlingsea Regent have announced the signing of goalkeeper Billy Lawlor, for ‘an undisclosed fee.’ 

Billy was with Little Oakley - and indeed Brentwood Town fans might remember him, as he kept a clean sheet as his side knocked the Blues out of the Essex Senior Cup in January. According to the FA website he made twenty two appearances last season. 

He came through the youth ranks at Dagenham and Redbridge, where he played for the Under 18 side, and you might just remember him from a loan spell at Faversham Town during the 22-23 campaign. He made three appearances for the Lilywhites- and also had a loan spell at Romford.
