A new seaside for Bruno
Bruno Tavares is new at Felixstowe and Walton United
Prior to Saturday's win over Walthamstow, Felixstowe and Walton United brought in Bruno Tavares- and he made a debut from the bench.
Bruno has most recently been with Redbridge, and indeed his ten appearances this season have brought three goals- two of them against his new club on the opening day. He ended last season at SCFL side Haywards Heath Town, after starting it at Hastings United, whom he joined from Ashford United. He also played for Hythe Town and Woodford Town during 24-25, so he has certainly covered some miles!
Bruno, who can play on the wing or through the middle, played his early football for Rayners Lane, Enfield Borough, and made a couple of appearances for then Pitching In Isthmian South Central side Chalfont St Peter during the 2019-20 campaign. He then played for Enfield Borough once more, had a trial at Swindon Town, and then signed for National League South side Hungerford Town in the summer of 2021.
After a season- and a spell at Royston Town- he moved on to Hayes & Yeading United, at the start of the 22-23 season. A loan spell at Southall followed- seven appearances and a goal against Chertsey Town- before he stepped up to National League South once more, signing for Concord Rangers.
At the start of the 23-24 campaign he arrived at Sittingbourne, and he went on to play for one of our former clubs, Hullbridge Sports.
