Ayyuba Jambang and Josh Chambers strengthen Chatham Town

Prior to Saturday's meeting with Wingate and Finchley, Chatham Town announced the arrivals of Ayyuba Jambang and Josh Chambers.

Ayyuba comes in from Ipswich Town- on loan. He started out at the Tractor Boys local rivals Norwich City, where he played for the Under 18 side, and moved on to Reading as an Under 21. He moved back to East Anglia and became a Tractor Boy in the summer of 2023, and last year spent some time with Aveley in National League South, making his debut for the Millers in their FA Trophy Fifth Round tie with Bromley in February.

Josh comes in from Gillingham. He has played youth and first team football for the Gills over the last few years, but has spent more time- loan spells in 22-23 and at the end of last season- helping Worthing fight for promotion from National League South, and is very highly regarded on the Sussex coast.

He has also had a successful loan spell at Welling United.

He spent time with Folkestone Invicta earlier this season, making five appearances.
