A pair of Scholars

Friday evening and Saturday morning saw two new arrivals at Potters Bar Town.

Harvey Steel, a defender, makes the relatively short trip from Welwyn Garden City, for whom he has played since September 2022. He joined City from our very own Wingate and Finchley, for whom he played nine times during 21-22 and another four times prior to his departure in the early stages of 22-23. 

He came through the Academy at Cambridge United, and also played for Yaxley and St Neots Town.

Freddie Buers is a loan arrival from Watford. He joined the Hornets Academy in January on an eighteen month deal after departure from Kings Langley. The forward has also played youth football for both Southend United and West Ham United, and signed for Kings in March 2023, very quickly making a big impression.
