A pair of Yachtsmen as Gray returns and Binnie arrives
Ethan Binnie and Ryan Gray debut for Wroxham in a Cup marathon
Wroxham were in Velocity Cup action against Buckhurst Hill last weekend, the match ending two-two before Hill won eleven-ten in a shootout- and the Yachtsmen had two new names on the teamsheet.
Keeper Ethan Binnie was formerly with Norwich City, where he played for the Under 18 and Under 21 sides at Carrow Road after joining them as a scholar in the summer of 2024. He had loan time time at Biggleswade Town during the 24-25 season, and last season spent time at Cray Wanderers, where he played three times, and at Lowestoft Town, where he played nine times. He ended the campaign on loan at Chippenham Town, and departed the Canaries in the summer.
Ryan Gray has been a Yachtsmen previously, making three appearances last season whilst on loan from Cambridge United.
Ryan joined United in 2022, and signed his first Scholarship with the club's Academy in May 2022. He played for the Under 18 side, and after his spell with Wroxham spent time with Biggleswade in Pitching In Southern Division One Central, where he scored a rather incredible seven goals in five matches, helping his side end the campaign in third place.
He left Cambridge in the summer.
