A Pilot Field double as O'Mara and Barlow return

Finn O'Mara and Callum Barlow are back with Hastings United

Hastings United have announced the return to the club of Finn O'Mara and Callum Barlow.

Midfielder Finn has most recently been with Whitstable Town.

He first signed for Hastings United in November of 2021, initially on loan from Folkestone Invicta, before making the move permanent in January 2022. He was a big part of their promotion winning side, playing twenty six times, and made eleven appearances as they returned to our top flight . he then moved on to play briefly for Cray Valley PM and then returned to our top flight to help Herne Bay in their fight against relegation, ultimately unsuccessfully. Since then he has played for Erith and Belvedere, Faversham Town and Whitstable.

He started his career at Gillingham, where he went from the youth ranks aged thirteen to the first team squad. He had two loan spells at Folkestone Invicta before signing permanently for the Stripes in October 2018.

Callum Barlow makes the move along the coast from Bognor Regis Town. He signed for the Rocks in the summer and has played thirteen times, scoring twice.

He scored thirty five goals for Eastbourne United in the SCFL Premier last season- and rather unsurprisingly picked up an end of season award from his club. Twenty one of those goals came from thirty two matches in the league, where his side finished just short of a Play Off spot.

He moved to United from neighbours Eastbourne Town, where he was rather prolific for the Under 23 side and also scored four goals from fifteen appearances for the first team during the 22-23 season.

The forward was part of the Hastings United Academy earlier in his career.
