A Regent double

A Regent double

Ewan Gordon-Clement and Fletcher Hubbard. are new at Brightlingsea Regent

Brightlingsea Regent announced two new arrivals prior to Saturday's FA Cup win at Kempston Rovers, and both played their part in that victory.

Ewan Gordon-Clement might be familiar to you, as he was a bright spark in a damp squib of a season for Stowmarket Town after coming in on loan from Colchester United last season,  scoring nine goals in eighteen appearances and at one point scoring in six consecutive matches, although sadly his side didn't win any of those. The forward played in the Needham Market Academy before being picked up by United, and also previously spent a short time at Stanway Rovers.

Midfielder Fletcher Hubbard came through the Academy at Swindon Town, appearing a few times from the bench for the first team last season and also spending time on loan at Melksham Town. He also picked up the Academy goal of the season award back in May.
