A Rooks trio

Parish Muirhead, Nabeel Ghannam and Ben Mundele are new at Lewes

Lewes have brought in two players who are well known to their new manager, Parish Muirhead and Ben Mundele having all spent time alongside him at Glebe last season- and a third, Nabeel Ghannam, who was a big part of the promotion challenge at Three Bridges.

Parish, a midfielder, played forty two times for Glebe last season, scoring once. That followed sixteen appearances during 22-23. He was previously with Walton & Hersham- and indeed was a swan when the 19-20 season crashed to an early end- and with Walton Casuals.

Defender Ben has previously been a Rook, joining the club alongside former boss Tony Russell before being hit by serious injury, and of course was a massive part of Wands promotion to our Premier Division as well as being named in multiple Teams of the Year for the South and then South East Divisions. He spent a little time with Beckenham Town last season, playing four times, and the rest of the campaign with Glebe.

Nabeel spent the second half of last season with Three Bridges after a move from Sutton Common Rovers, and was a great success, playing twenty one times and scoring six goals as they reached the Play Off Final.

The wide or attacking midfielder spent a short time with South Park Reigate midway through the 21-22 season after moving on loan from- then- National League South side Dorking Wanderers. He moved on to Rovers in February of 2023 and played twelve times, scoring three goals, as his side narrowly held onto their Pitching In Isthmian South Central place at the end of the campaign. He was very much an ever-present for Rovers last season before heading to Jubilee Field, playing twenty eight times and scoring eight goals.

He has also previously played at Loxwood and Alfold in the Southern Combination Football League- and was part of the youth side at Three Bridges.
