A Rovers trio
Sutton Common Rovers add Michael Sarpong, Conor Darwish and Michael Samson
Sutton Common Rovers have announced a trio of new arrivals.
Michael Sarpong comes in from Pitching In Isthmian South East side Sevenoaks Town, for whom he has played nine times this season. Michael made twenty appearances- with three goals- for Phoenix Sports at the start of last season, the midfielder finishing the campaign in the SCEFL with Fisher. He had played for Fisher since the start of the 21-22 campaign, and was previously with FC Elmstead. He can also play as a full back.
Conor Darwish comes in from Pitching In Isthmian North side Sporting Bengal United, for whom he has made six appearances. The full back previously played for SCEFL side Fisher, playing there last season and during 22-23, and picking up the goal of the season prize last season.
Defender Michael Samson makes the move north from Pitching In Isthmian South East side Steyning Town- although he has played only once. Prior to that he was briefly with Three Bridges, where he played five times.
Michael is best known for his work at the northern end of the country, where he was a Fleetwood Town Academy player before spending time with the likes of Clitheroe, Runcorn Town, Skelmersdale United and Kendal. He spent some time with Corinthian-Casuals last season, and has also played for Barton Rovers and London Colney.
