A Scholars trio

Seb Stacey, Daniom Tsegai, Daniel Aldana, Hamid Abdel Salam and Calvin Ekpiteta are new at Potters Bar Town

Potters Bar Town added a collection of new signings prior to the arrival of Dover Athletic at the weekend- and gave them something of a baptism of fire.

Seb Stacey, a goalkeeper, came in on loan from MK Dons. Seb signed his first professional deal earlier this summer, has been part of the first team squad, and last season had loans at Biggleswade Town and AFC Dunstable.

Midfielder Daniom Tsegai has played for Cricklewood Wanderers and Harefield United, whilst Daniel Aldana, a centre back, has spent time with Haringey Borough, Romford, FC Romania and Tower Hamlets.

Another defender, Hamid Abdel Salam, came through the youth ranks at reading where he played Under 18 and Under 21 football,  whilst Scholars fans will already know Calvin Ekpiteta, as he is returning to the club.

Midfielder Calvin spent last season at Cray Valley PM, and went on to play thirty two times and score three goals as the Millers won promotion and the South East title- and of course delivered that famous FA Cup run. He was previously with Carshalton Athletic, where he played more times that any other Robins player during 22-23, making forty two appearances, and also weighed in with ten goals.

Prior to his time with Athletic he was with Potters Bar during 21-22, making eight appearances and scoring three goals. He also spent time with Kingstonian during that campaign, making ten appearances, and with Margate, where he turned out five times and scored two goals. Prior to his time at Hartsdown Park he was at Concord Rangers, and also spent time with Merstham. Calvin originally joined the Moatsiders from Tilbury, and prior to that played for Wingate & Finchley, East Thurrock United, Bishop's Stortford, Greenwich Borough, Metropolitan Police, Grays Athletic and Aveley. He began his career as a youth player with Dartford.
