A Sparks double

Sam Remfry and Danny Dudley new at South Park Reigate

South Park Reigate have announced the signings of Sam Remfry and Danny Dudley.

Sam came through the junior and youth ranks at the Sparks, before graduating to the first team, making twenty four appearances for the Sparks during the 2019-20 season, scoring twice, twenty two in 2018-19 and five in 2017-18, when he scored on his home debut against Ramsgate. He then moved up two levels, signing for Concord Rangers in the National League South, and spent some loan time at Tilbury. He moved on to play for Haywards Heath Town and East Grinstead Town, and then the 22-23 season found him at Burgess Hill Town, where he made fifteen appearances and scored two goals. He spent last season at Steyning Town.

Defender Danny Dudley ended last season at the Sparks South Central rivals, Raynes Park Vale. He made nine appearances.

Danny joined Vale from Chipstead, where he landed after ending the 22-23 season helping Kingstonian to Pitching In Isthmian Premier safety. He played twenty times for the Chips. Danny joined the K's at Christmas 2022, and made seventeen appearances. He also scored the winner in a critical relegation battle against Bowers & Pitsea.

He started the 22-23 season at Horsham, and played nine times. He joined the Hornets in the autumn of 2020, but spent much of the 21-22 season in the treatment room. Prior to his time at the Camping World Community Stadium he captained Carshalton Athletic to promotion, and also turned out for Corinthian-Casuals, Chipstead and Whyteleafe.
