A Sparks duo

South Park Reigate had two debutants as they fell to narrow defeat against Hartley Wintney on Saturday.

Striker Andy Somo has most recently been with Merstham playing eight times and scoring once. 

He spent most of last season with Kingstonian, scoring ten goals in twenty nine matches. That followed a 22-23  season terrorising Pitching In Isthmian South Central defences with Chipstead, where he scored seventeen goals, including four in one match against Hanworth Villa. That followed nineteen goals in thirty five appearances during the 21-22 campaign. 

Prior to his time with the Chips, Andy spent the two pandemic-hit seasons playing for Croydon in the SCEFL. He was also rather prolific for the Trams. At the end of the 22-23 season he was chosen by South Central managers for a place in our official Team of the Season.

Forward Vinnie Tume is a graduate of the Sutton United Academy, and indeed made his way into the first team squad, making a debut in the closing months of last season. He plays mainly for the Under 18 side at Sutton, and given he has been playing recently we suspect this is a loan move!
