A Sparks signing catch up

Baldwin Kaluya, Bailee Cain, Cerny Ando, Tom Jackson and Ted Sullivan are new at South Park Reigate

We're catching up on signing news that we've missed, and there has been rather a lot of that at South Park Reigate.

Goalkeeper Baldwin Kaluya has been our way before. He played for Chipstead fifteen times during the 23-24 campaign, and also spent some time with the original Whyteleafe as well as playing a couple of times with Beckenham Town during the 24-25 season.

He played briefly for Punjab United a few years ago, and has also played for Glebe and Hatcham.

Bailey Cain, a full back who can also play further forward, came through the Academy at Ebbsfleet United. He also spent time with Punjab United, and played for the B side at Chatham Town, as well as turning out briefly for Greenwich Borough last season.

Cerny Ando started last season with Southall, making a dozen appearances, before playing twenty four times for Metropolitan Police.

He made a dozen appearances for Leatherhead during the 24-25 season, after moving to Fetcham Grove part way through the campaign from The Sparks. The defender made seventeen appearances for the Sparks during the 23-24 season, scoring once, a winner in the Surrey Senior Cup Semi-Final- and then played another eighteen times the following season before his Leatherhead move.

He joined the Sparks from Egham Town, and also spent time with Merstham during the 23-24 season. Previously he played for Bedfont Sports, and Aveley, joining the Millers from Cray Wanderers  in January 2023. He played only twice for the Millers. He played twice for Wanderers, too.

Cerny was an AFC Wimbledon youth who then moved up north, and played Under 18 and Under 21 football for Salford City. He then played a number of friendly matches for Kingstonian and also played for Metropolitan Police.

Tom Jackson was with Kingstonian last season, playing thirty four times and scoring three goals. The midfielder made the move to the K's from Sevenoaks Town, although was only their briefly, playing nine times.

Tom moved to Oaks from Cray Wanderers, where he played three times. The 24-25 season saw him make a dozen appearances for Carshalton Athletic before a move to Marlow.

Tom joined the Robins in the summer of 2024 from another set of Robins, Bracknell Town, where he was a star performer during 23-24. The player came through the ranks at AFC Wimbledon and previously spent time with Guernsey, Hanwell Town and Corinthian-Casuals, making eleven appearances during the 22-23 Pitching In Isthmian Premier campaign at the latter. Prior to his move to Bracknell he spent time with Hendon.

Ted Sullivan comes in on loan from Dorking Wanderers, and is scheduled to remain until the New Year.

Ted, a midfielder,  has played for the Under 18 side, and, on a number of occasions last season for the first team at Meadowbank. He is skipper of the Academy side. He spent some time on loan at Kingstonian last season, but so far as we can see played only once.
