A Tags trio

Hashtag United announced thre new arrivals prior to the big kick off on Saturday.

Ayo Olukoga first came to our attention playing for Romford in our North Division, and then he spent time at Premier level, first with East Thurrock United and then with Lewes. He made thirty two appearances for the Rooks last season, and that followed forty three during 22-23 and twenty three during the previous campaign. He can play in defence and midfield. 

Defender Josh Rusoke came to our notice at Basildon United, where he played five times during the defunct 2020-21 campaign. He played another eleven times for the Bees before stepping up to Bowers & Pitsea, where he made twenty seven appearances in the Pitching In Isthmian Premier and Essex County Cup, many of them a little further forward. He spent a little time with Aveley, then moved on to Brightlingsea Regent, where he featured eleven times. He then had time with Potters Bar Town, playing twenty one times, before a short spell with Cheshunt last season. He left the Ambers for Brentwood Town and played fifteen times and then stepped up to finish last season with Concord Rangers, making twelve appearances. 

Hussein Mahdi comes in from Hilltop, who play in Combined Counties Premier North. The forward has apparently scored thirty five goals in seventy four appearances for his former club- which is nearly a goal every two matches- and made thirty four appearances last season.
