Watford's George Abbott is the latest Scholar

Potters Bar Town have announced the loan signing of Watford defender George Abbott.

George has played youth, Under 18 and Under 21 football with the EFL Championship Hornets. This isn't his first loan foray, either, as he has already spent time at National League South side Chippenham Town, and, briefly at the Scholars last season. This season he has had a loan spell at Hendon, where he played six times.

He is a Wales Under 19 international, and indeed has already captained his national side as well as the Under 18 side at Vicarage Road.
