Daniel Ajakaiye swaps Cray for Cray

Cray Wanderers have signed forward Daniel Ajakaiye from neighbours Cray Valley PM.

Daniel has been with the Millers since the summer, making a move from Horsham. He has played thirty nine times and scored six goals.

He joined Horsham in the summer of 2022, and went on to have a fantastic time as a Hornet. he managed thirty four matches and fourteen goals during his first campaign, and twenty goals in fifty two matches during 23-24, as the Hornets reached our Play Off Semi-Finals, won the Sussex Senior Cup, and got to the second round of the FA Cup.

Last season, of course, brought a League title, another Sussex Senior Cup, another fine FA Cup run and half a dozen goals in forty three matches.

Daniel previously played for Kingstonian, and in 21-22 played fifty two times and scored twenty one goals.

He had previously been with National League South side Havant & Waterlooville, for whom he signed after departing Hastings United in the summer of 2020. That season wasn't his first time as a K- he made seventeen appearances and scored two goals back in 2017-18 before heading to Pilot Field. He was very quickly a success at Hastings, scoring on his debut and then grabbing thirty goals during 2018-19, and nine more from a deeper role the following season.
