Akinwande back in Blue

Femi Akinwande returns to Billericay Town

Billericay Town have announced the return to the club of forward Femi Akinwande- and gave him another debut in victory over Hendon on Saturday. 

 

Femi played youth football for Millwall and Dartford, and has much experience at our level and higher. He played for Tonbridge Angels and the Blues- both at National League South level- and he has also turned out for the likes of Stevenage, Concord Rangers, East Thurrock United and Colchester United. He was a big part of the Haringey Borough squad which reached the First Round of the FA Cup during the 2018-19 season, before finishing the Premier Division season in third place. The 22-23 season saw him arrive at Carshalton Athletic , where he scored eleven goals in his thirty eight appearances, and he started last season at Hastings United, scoring eight goals in fourteen matches, before a move to Hornchurch, where he helped power the Urchins to the title. He managed eighteen goals in twenty seven appearances last season, including two against the Blues in March, and has played another nineteen times for the Urchins in National League South this season.
