All Hale the Deans!

Horndean have announced Shaun Hale as their new manager. Shaun replaces Michael Birmingham, who departed just over a week ago to take charge of Pitching In Isthmian Premier side Bognor Regis Town.

As a player, Shaun turned out for Salisbury City, Fleet Town, Havant & Waterlooville and Bashley, as well as playing for the Army and Combined Services side. He went on to manage AFC Portchester before moving on to have considerable success in the Wessex League with Bemerton Heath Harlequins, where his side earned promotion to Pitching In Southern Division One South. He has more recently been in charge of Downton.
