An Athletic Temple

Grays Athletic have signed forward Shane Temple from Cambridge City. 

Shane joined City in the summer, and will be remembered for scoring the first goal in their new stadium- one of three goals in twenty six games this season. 

Shane played twenty eight times and scored four goals for Maldon & Tiptree last season. He joined the Jammers in September 2023, making the move from Concord Rangers, where he had made three appearances. 

He first came to our attention as a youth and then first team player for Braintree Town, before moving to AFC Sudbury between 2020 and 2022. He notably scored four goals in an FA Cup win for the Yellows against Harborough Town. He spent much of the 22-23 season at Basildon United, where he scored nine goals in twenty seven matches.
