Another Tangerine double

Another Tangerine double

Callum McAllister and Josh Blakebrough are new at Ashford Town

Ashford Town have announced two new arrivals.

A champion with Chertsey Town at the end of last season, Callum McAllister is first up. He made eleven Curfews appearances and scored one goal after joining the club midway through the season from Raynes Park Vale.

He had already made twenty appearances for Vale and scored four goals, after playing an enormous part in their promotion during the 22-23 season, playing forty times as his team earned ninety nine points on the way to the Combined Counties Premier South title.

He was previously with Chipstead, making his debut just before the pandemic hit, playing another nine times during what we had of the 20-21 season, and then making twenty seven appearances during 21-22.

He also played for South Park Reigate, making twenty two appearances during the 19-20 campaign. He was previously with Hayes & Yeading United, Corinthian-Casuals and Staines Town, after starting off as a youth at Queens Park Rangers.

Former Tangerines youth player Josh Blakebrough also signs on. The defender has previously been with Combined Counties side Virginia Water where he made forty eight appearances last season, which followed thirty one during 22-23. He previously played Under 18 football with Spelthorne Sports.

They join Bradley Sweeney and Callum Hope, who we told you about earlier this month.
