Another Tuesday Friendly round up
Many of our clubs were in action last night. Here's what happened.
Ascot United and Merstham met at the Racecourse Ground, with the Moatsiders taking the plaudits in a two-one win. King and Senior scored for the visitors, we don’t have any details of the United goalscorer.
Ashford Utd defeated Bromley Under 23’s by three goals to nil. Lockyer opened the scoring from the spot midway through the first half, and after the break a double from Carney finished off the young Ravens.
Ashford Town and Camberley Town haven’t recorded a result that we can find, whilst Badshot Lea welcomed Basingstoke Town, the visitors departing with a four-one win.
Benfleet and Hashtag United met at Parkside, the Tags christening their new home ‘turf’ with a six-nil win. Toby Aromolaran led the way with a hat trick, Restrepo, Anderson and Hassan got the others.

Dulwich Hamlet drew two-two with a Crystal Palace XI, Hand and Porter with the home goals. Frenford were the hosts for Redbridge, and the Motormen left with a two-two draw. All the goals arrived in the first half, and we’ve no idea who got any of them!
Gorleston and Leiston played out a five goal thriller, the Greens getting two of those five goals in defeat, whilst behind closed doors Grays Athletic defeated a Colchester Utd XI (at Maldon & Tiptree) by two goals to one.
Guildford City welcomed Metropolitan Police with an outcome seemingly not mentioned anywhere, whilst Harpenden Town defeated Hendon three-nil. Harrow Borough defeated Oxhey Jets three-nil, with a hat trick for number seven, whoever he may be!
Hartley Wintney and Aldershot Academy did…well, we’ve no idea what they did as nobody seems to have announced it, whilst Hayes & Yeading Utd welcomed Potters Bar Town and the two delivered seven goals between them, the Scholars scoring four of them. We can tell you that Howard Caluseru scored a ‘worldie’ for United, but that’s as far as our knowledge stretches.
Haywards Heath Town played host to Horsham, the Hornets delivering a five-one win, with goals for a trialist, Ogunwamide, Meekums, and Ajakaiye with two. Hemel Hempstead Town were just tool strong for Rayners Lane, winning two-nil.

Whitehawk were two-nil winners over Peacehaven & Telscombe Utd, Whelpdale and a Trialist scoring for the Hawks, whilst Wick scored two against Littlehampton Town, but the Golds got six!
