Another two Millers turn blue

George Saunders and Jayden Robinson are the latest to depart Aveley for Brentwood

Brentwood Town have announced two more recruits from Aveley, George Saunders and Jayden Robinson the latest to follow boss Brett Munyard to the Arena.

George, a winger, came through the youth system at Billericay Town before joining Harold Hill. He moved on to play for Kelvedon Hatch before being spotted by Hornchurch, moved up four levels, and was an instant success, becoming one of the first names on the team sheet after debuting at the start of the 2018-19 campaign- the Urchins first in the Premier Division following their North Division title win. He was snapped up by National League Dagenham just before the 20-21 season, but after a terrible injury kept him out of the game for a considerable period returned to the Urchins at the start of the 23-24 campaign, and made twenty nine appearances as they took our Premier Division title, remaining with the club as they started life in National League South. He played thirty two times during the 24-25 season, and then moved on to Aveley last season, playing thirty nine times and scoring seven goals. he has made six appearances with two goals this season.

Jayden, a midfielder,  moved to Aveley in the summer of 2025 and played thirty nine times with five goals last season. He has made seven appearances with two goals this season.

He joined the Millers from Brightlingsea Regent, where he played an enormous role as they reached the Play Off Final in 24-25. He made fifty four appearances and scored five goals. That followed eight appearances in the closing stages of the 23-24 campaign, initially on loan from Billericay Town.

Jayden played Under 16 and Under 18 football for Town before spending the 22-23 season as part of the Under 23 side, stepping up to make his league debut in March of 2023 and making fifteen first team appearances for the Blues.
