Attacking trio for Athletic

Ruben Soares-Junior, Lindell Stewart and Jayden Silcott-Brown sign on at Dover Athletic

Dover Athletic have announced three attacking arrivals.

Ruben Soares-Junior spent time at Billericay Town last season, making nineteen appearances and scoring once as the Blues just missed out on a Play off place. He signed for Town from Folkestone Invicta but was only at Invicta for a few weeks, joining the club in mid December. He managed five appearances, the last of them coming on New Years Day at Margate.

Ruben was previously with Grays Athletic, where he made six appearances. He ended the 22-23 season along the coast from Folkestone, with Margate, where he was on loan from Tonbridge Angels. He played ten times for the Blues, scoring two goals. Prior to his time with Angels he was playing in Scotland, for Queen of the South, and also had a National League South spell at Billericay. Ruben was previously in our ranks with Three Bridges, had an earlier spell at Grays Athletic, and he has also played for Hertford Town and Biggleswade Town.

Lindell Stewart was with Sutton Common Rovers and Marlow last season, in our South Central Division- playing twenty one times for Rovers and making nine appearances for Marlow. He spent time with Northwood at the start of the 22-23 season, playing seven times, joining the Woods from Windsor, where he scored sixteen goals as his side finished seventh during 21-22. He also spent time with Merstham during 22-23, making four appearances, before moving on to Ashford Town, where he ended the campaign, playing twenty four times and scoring six goals. He was also previously with Harefield United.

Jayden Silcott-Brown ended last season with Redbridge, where he made nine appearances and scored one goal, and he also spent time playing Thurlow Nunn football last season with Basildon Town. He has also played- very briefly- for Bowers and Pitsea,  played Southern League football with FC Romania, and has also turned out for Colney Heath.
